Pricing notes. Prices shown are starting rates for vehicles in normal condition. Ceramic spray is not a permanent ceramic coating — it adds gloss, slickness, and water-beading for short-term protection. Excessive pet hair, sand, mud, stains, sap, tar, water spots, odor, or heavy buildup will be quoted as add-ons before any extra work begins. Older or worn interiors may have permanent staining, fading, cracking, or peeling that detailing cannot correct — we clean and improve, we do not repair damaged materials.

Exterior detail with clay bar and ceramic spray by Williams Wash and Detail

Exterior Detail — More Than a Wash

A wash removes what sits on the paint. An exterior detail removes what is bonded to it. Iron remover and clay treatment pull out brake dust and road contaminants so the ceramic spray seals clean paint rather than locking in residue underneath.

We do not offer paint correction, wet sanding, or compounding. For customers who want added gloss, our one-step Full Reset includes interior and decontamination work as a combined package.

Interior detailing by Williams Wash and Detail

Interior Reset — The Part Passengers Notice First

Seats, steering wheel, console, door panels, cupholders, vents, floor mats, and glass. For daily drivers, family cars, lease returns, and vehicles being sold, a fresh cabin makes the whole car feel like new.

Heavy pet hair, spills, and stains are quoted as add-ons so the base price stays honest. We tell you what we find before we charge extra for it.

Mobile Detailing in the Inland Empire: Ceramic Spray, Water Spots & Paint Care

Inland Empire vehicles deal with intense sun, desert dust, freeway film, sprinkler minerals, and hot driveway parking. A proper mobile detail is more than a rinse — it is the right combination of safe washing, decontamination, interior cleaning, and paint protection matched to your vehicle's condition.

Ceramic Spray vs. Ceramic Coating

Ceramic spray is a short-term paint protectant that adds gloss, slickness, and water beading after a proper wash or exterior detail. It is not the same as a multi-year ceramic coating. A true coating typically requires deeper paint prep and a longer cure window. For most daily drivers in Riverside and the Inland Empire, ceramic spray is a practical maintenance option — it improves shine and makes future washes easier without the commitment or cost of a permanent coating.

Wax vs. Ceramic Spray

Traditional wax can add warmth and shine, but it breaks down faster in heat and direct sun — two constants in the IE. Ceramic spray is typically a better fit for Inland Empire mobile detailing because it applies quickly, bonds well to clean paint, and provides strong water-beading behavior for a maintenance service. We apply it after the paint is washed and, when needed, decontaminated with iron remover or clay.

Why Deionized Water Matters Here

Deionized water reduces mineral spotting because dissolved minerals have been removed before the rinse. That matters locally because hard water and hot panels can produce new spots almost instantly on a sunny day. DI water is not a substitute for proper washing and drying technique, but it lowers the risk of fresh mineral deposits when conditions are hot, windy, or dusty — all of which describe a typical Inland Empire afternoon.

Water Spots on Paint and Glass

Water spots can be fresh mineral deposits sitting on the surface, or they can be etched into the clear coat and glass. Fresh spots are often improved with a wash, chemical treatment, clay, or targeted spot removal. Older spots may need polishing, and severe etching may not fully clear. We quote water spot removal separately because the right approach depends on how long the minerals have been baked into the surface under IE sun.

Oxidation, Fading, and Dull Paint

Oxidation develops when sustained UV exposure breaks down the top layer of paint or clear coat, leaving the finish chalky or faded. A wash alone will not fix it. Our Exterior Detail includes decontamination that improves protection adherence, and our Full Reset combines that with a thorough interior service. For light oxidation improvement with a machine polish step, ask about availability when booking.

Clay Bar and Paint Decontamination

If paint feels rough after washing, it likely has bonded contaminants — brake dust, industrial fallout, tar, sap, or road film. Clay treatment and iron remover pull contamination from the surface so ceramic spray protection bonds to clean paint. This is why an exterior detail costs more than a wash: the goal is removing what is stuck to the paint, not just what sits on top of it.

Recommended Inland Empire Detailing Schedule for Daily Drivers

For maintained vehicles, a Wash + Ceramic Spray every few weeks keeps the exterior looking clean and easier to maintain between visits. If the interior sees light daily use, add the Light Interior Refresh. If the cabin has pet hair, sand, spills, or heavy buildup, book an Interior Reset Detail instead. For sale prep, lease returns, or vehicles that need both inside and outside fully refreshed, the Full Reset Detail is the right starting point. Our fleet program handles recurring schedules for businesses with multiple vehicles.
